| Revised plans go in for Green Man Lane | |
The project includes the phased demolition of 464 existing homes to make way for new properties for affordable rent, shared ownership and outright sale. There are also plans for new community buildings and facilities. A2Dominion & Rydon, who are working together on the scheme, say the revised plans do not change any of the layout principles established last year, but will help to improve the way the buildings will look from Singapore Road and the Broadway. There is a reduction in the height of the new properties at either end of Singapore Road, which results in a small reduction in the number of new homes. These changes in design are in line with suggestions from the Greater London Authority and Ealing Council. Formal consultation is under way and will last until July 23. During this time, the plans will be on show at the Green Man Lane Community Centre in West Ealing. |
