| St George's field decision deferred | |
A decision on a plan to build homes on a Church playing field has been deferred. St George's Church in Pinner has been trying to get a plaaning application to build housing on the site since 1989, most recently lsing on appeal in 2008. The Inspector at that appeal gave the Church guidelines which could now lead to the revised plans for 27 new homes gaining consent, despite the general oppostition of LB Harrow. Should the homes be built, around 40% of the field would be preserved as public open space. See previous coverage, and detail from the Harrow Observer. |
