BAA has revised its capital investment plans for Heathrow Airport following the withdrawl of its planning application for R3.

The "Project for the Sustainable Development of Heathrow" has received a increased budget, as money intended to fund third runway work has been moved to other priorities. T2remains the main capital project, but may get an extra phase of construction to cover the site of the present Terminal 1.

Other projects mentioned are a possible new passenger transfer system that could link all terminals, and surface access work linked to Crossrail and Airtrack.
