| New plans for North Harrow Community Centre | |
Battlers Wells have submitted new plans for the North Harrow Community Centre. These are the second set of plans from the charity aimed at redeveloping the site of the North Harrow Assembly Halls on Station Road. The first set were refused by LB Harrow earlier this year, although the Council agrees the site is in need of development. Planned facilities include a sports hall with four badminton courts, a gym, a children’s play centre, a prayer area and a café. Battlers Wells is a muslim charity, but, as their website stresses, this is intended to be a facility for the whole community. |
