| A2Dominion completes in Honeypot Lane | |
The site of the former DVLA offices, a 15 acre site in Honeypot Lane, will be home to hundreds of new homes and commercial space. A2Dominion is providing 200 affordable houses and apartments on the site, with St Edward Homes, a joint venture between Prudential and the Berkeley Group, building over 500 private sale homes. Danny Lynch, A2Dominion’s Development Director for London, said: “The first 14 houses have now been finished, and these will be available for affordable rent. We anticipate all of the 200 affordable homes will be finished in 2014, with phased completions of new apartments and houses taking place between now and then.”
The Homes & Communities Agency awarded £20 million grant funding for the building of the affordable homes on the site.
