| Southall Manor House gets £500,000 | |
The Elizabethan building at Southall Manor House will get over £500,000 for restoration works. The Council approved £560,000 for the two-year project to restore one of the Boroughs "gems", as it was descibed by Council Leader Jason Stacey. Jason Stacey told the Ealing Gazette: "The council is keen to regenerate every corner of the borough, and there is already a lot of work under way to improve Southall. In addition to the major works on the house, plans are already under way to improve the grounds of Southall Manor House by restoring the pool and garden, and introducing a community history project.
